We can not solve the problem of over population, neglect, abandonment, or abuse. However we can make a difference in the lives of the horses that come through our gates. Just as you can make a difference in the lives of the animals in your care. A cute foal may sound like a great idea, but it will be expensive, and there are already so many. Just because animals can breed does not mean that they should. Make responsibile, well thought out choices. Provide ALL the proper care for your animals. This includes quality feed, farrier, veterinarian services, dental services, training, and more. Report abuse and neglect to local officials. Teach others through your actions.
Sponsorships:
Sponsorships are a way that helps provide for horses in the care of Promise Acres. Most come in with issues needing medical care, extensive farrier work, and specialized feed programs. By sponsoring a horse you are thereby making it possible for Promise Acres to use its limited resources where they are needed most. Each horses expenses vary greatly, and only a fraction of those costs are recouped with our low adoption fees. We have no set sponsorship amounts, just whatever you are able. We will send out an ackowledgement for your generosity.
